Couple of our trucks have 38k rears. We haul 105,500 most times and never had any issues.

When I was running the extra axle on the truck I had one gal that would always look at my door tag when she would stop me. She never weighed me... might have been cause of the door tag. Never asked.

Interesting. I know the Pete has 38k rears and I added a pusher to that one. We've owned it since 09 and I haven't been stopped once. (Knocks on wood)

Iowa has a law you can lift your axles around a corner within a 1000ft of the intersection as long as you can axle it. I did that at a stop sign and she was across from me. Followed for ten miles and lit me up.

Looked at the door tag and my scale ticket and said have a nice day.

Itd only carry about 85k at most. Didnt know if that would be a deal breaker.

Your pete has 38 k suspension, but your housings are 40k. I know a couple of HH, ers that run that same setup with no issues.

Depends on your state regulations. Missouri is 88k on tandems for ag but I think it says something about tire rating. I'm legal for 90 now in Iowa without my exta axle so I don't worry about it in Missouri with my triple axle

    I'm still license at 96k

What a blast from the past. Looking at the fire calls, I remember the wreck at 11th & Hendricks. That's where the fire station was and still is. There was a huge tree on the SE side of the intersection. There were cars hitting that tree on a fairly regular basis, mostly alcohol induced. I was on duty there that night when a drunk took the corner too fast and slid into it.

Okay that's good to know. I wasn't sure how the numbers worked and that makes sense now that you mention it.

@SAR I found when I was running heavy on the truck I was eating suspension bushings. Are you seeing the same?? I'm running air leaf and I know you have low air that some say like to crack.

Just wondering if you have noticed any issues or have you always been able to hall heavy so may not have anything to compare it to.
