Good about the deer...bad about the lights. Should have posted better about antlers. I meant lucky it wasn't a deer with antlers. We have had one car wiped out by deer, my son two cars. Had on deer run sideways by pickup and bumped the passenger door with its fanny. Then had deer hit trailer drive tires. I'm getting a little leary around deer.

There's just too many of them. We need to let McDonalds sell McDeer burgers or something.

Sounds like a good deal to me... on both repairs and what the load paid.

Does Dino pull a hopper? I can't remember. Wouldn't think would need load securement class.

Talked to some other grain companies today to see what their rates were. Anywhere from 1.00 to 1.10 a mile. Wasn't too impressed with that.

May take tomorrow off too...I have been hauling from same general area for two months. Not too unusual for me, but doing it and not making much money is mind numbing. May go to different area to keep from going brain dead.

1.00, 1.10 a mile??? That's pathetic. That's not even very good for running down the interstate getting 700 miles a day, but for grain?? There are trucks out there willing to haul for that??? That blows my mind...
