Which way do my pistons go in? CAT says writting on the tab side of con rods goes opposite the camshaft. Assuming that means the bearing tangs and they go opposite the cam. I ask because I have no writting on either side of my rods, just on what faces front and rear.

 

There isn't a number stamped in the rod cap or rod ? On cat they go opposite of cam.

 

Hopefully get these put back on the truck this weekend.

 

Nada that I can see. According to what I read in SIS it says the writting is supposed to be on the same side as the tabs. Assuming that meant bearing tabs so I put the bearing tabs opposite the cam. Only stuck 1 and 6 in and she rolls over like SFA. Can't even hear the pistons in the liners.

 

@Lostkeys swung thru your hood in a hurry today. Didnt have time for the normal b/s session. Grabbed a bite at Adam's kitchen. Good burger.

But what shocked me was the blonde at the fuel desk. Solid 6 then ahe turned around and became a 8.5. I will now be buying all my needs there. Groceries, fuel, anything on the bottom shelf. Might start smoking too, lots of cat scales.
