BillyBob’s alligator eatery has local routes.
Don’t go to work for BillyBob’s. Their drivers disappear.

I worked for a Sea Wall contractor outside of Sarasota. They never advertised, but never needed to. Point is look around don't just look on line or in the paper I'm back in NY now never could get used to no trees or hills

O/P, imho considering you ARE young (and not super experienced) food service could be the way to go. Dang good pay, and yes, however, hard work. I'm not sure who all you have there in Florida (Sysco/GFS/ et al...) but read some of @Mike2633 's stuff; he does well here in Ohio.

Depending on HOW young and inexperienced. THAT might be your problem.

    If you want local work.
Try the News papers. (not delivering to homes, but to COMMERCIAL places like hotels and gas stations). Go to the paper directly.
    Furniture delivery.
Go to the nearest truck stop. See who is there. If its a day cab, he's local. Ask the driver, nicely, where he's out of (which town is his depot located).
    Fedex, UPS, XPO, DHL, Speedee.
Most of them have dock to driver positions, or have package car driver needs that could put you in line to get the cushy P&D CDL A job in a couple years.

Cheney Bro’s is probably hiring, GFS does have a large Florida presence you’d have to see what jobs are open on the website.

GFS is always hiring here in Ohio; I'd check them out as well. Right, Mike? :)

How many owner operators with multiple dump trucks have you talked to?

Yes were hiring so much that now all the new trailers the back doors all have a big full door advertisement for driver hiring. Any trailer that was rebranded or brand new it has an ad for hiring, and it's a great big huge ad I mean it takes up the entire back of the trailer.
