Good morning folks!

We're having a heatwave up here. It's gonna be in the low 40's.

Thinking about taking the kids to a toy show later today.

Toy show ? Yer kinda toys ( huge and green) or their kinda toys ( kind ya push round and make vroom vroom sounds) ?????

 

The ones that go vroom vroom! LOL. Not sure we wanna play with these ones as there custom built and collectibles.

Last week was the Ag show but never made it. Too busy hauling corn.

 

@OLDSKOOLERnWV here's some old history fer ya. These first two pics are of my granddad on my dad's side. He was in WW1. the one pic of the two on the wagon, granddad is holding the reins. Egineering div. They built bases, moved supplies, hauled ammo.

 

This pic is of my Dad when he was a kid. Taken in front of same barn that I own now beside my home. His sister and granddad on the wagon.

 

This pic is of old farm house where my home sits now. before the road was paved or there were real cars ! Or even before the neighborhood existed !!

 

Not sure if it’s changed or not, but their hiring process used to be kind of odd. You had to talk to 2-3 senior drivers and see if they thought you’d be a good fit.

 

Yep ! Self employed all his life !
