4 more pistons to put in this morning. Then the piston jets and oil pump assembly. Pan's going to go on loose. Truck has a remote oil filter on the frame so I plan on hooking a pump to the oil filter return and pre-lubing the entire block. I have a fancy little borescope so I intend to ensure every spot that needs oil, gets it.

Oil consumption issues on 5.0L? Got a friend who is going through five quarts between oil changes.

No oil consumption problems. Lost 2 injectors and the intake manifold. Cost me about $3k in off warranty repairs.

I'd never touch anything built by Chrysler ever again. Had enough bad luck with their vehicles. Only brand I've ever owned that I've had zero problems with is GM.

tommymonza, misterG and Bean Jr. Thank this.
