    Maybe elon musk should dig his tunnel up there . Would be of much better use than LA. But ur right , it is not so much the weather that drive me crazy up there , it is all the stupid drivers around me that make me nervous. Im good with running thru wyoming a couple times a month but to do it like cattleman nonstop, i think i would have a mental breakdown lol

    NE has only ever gotten really ####ty on me once. WY on the other hand is ALWAYS ####ty... At least I expect it to be, and I'm pleasantly surprised when its not.

    But to your question, No WY and NE weather doesnt bother me, its all the idiots that are driving like its NASCAR that bother me. So when things get dicey, and the idiots are out in force, I shut down until well after dark and battle mother nature on nearly empty roads. I also take routes that most the idiots stay off of... US26 for example.

    Now ####ty weather in IA... That is a whole nother ball game... I HATE freezing rain, and IA seems to get more than its fair share. Plus it can get almost as windy as WY, if not worse.

    My God! How can she even walk? I have a hard enough time at 435. Thankfully I am not that huge!

    Practice backing everyday. Everyday. Don’t hit anything, don’t get tickets. Practice chaining even if it’s 70°. Don’t be lazy. Be on time. Learn to use two lane black tops that are truck routes. Think constantly about fuel mileage. Treat all shippers and receivers with respect. Learn your truck and pretrip the #### out of it. Get out of your comfort zone. Take notes on where you went and where you stopped. Don’t job hop if you can. Consider yourself as an intern after getting your high school diploma, poor pay and hours...but as you said it’s experience you want.

    I feel like a sophomore in college...with a #### ton still to learn.

    A year will go by in a blink of an eye. At a year and 1 day reach out to Dave and see if he’s interested. Be professional with Everyone. Running for Dave or the like is big boy trucking. No one will hold your hand, Dave will explain things to you in detail. Just listen.

    I had the idea for the tunnel a long time ago for WHY-OH-MING. That's not fair.

    Actually a cost effective way would be a wall between Laramie and Rawlins.

    But then you wouldn't be able to see the beautiful WHY-OH-MING countryside.

    There's some dude with an end dump ran over a 6 year old. He actually struck him with the body of the trailer while the kid was standing on the corner.

    How many times do you see people near corners like that, and wait to turn? Lots.
