They haven't enforced 55mph in IL for a long time. I run 62-65 mph through there and have for years. Usually most LEO's will give you at least 62 some will give you more. When I used to run to chicago everyday you could run 65-70 and they wouldn't bother you as long as you were driving like you had some sense.
