How heavy is the truck you will be pulling it with, if its a heavy truck you may be better off with a alum. frame trailer?

 

Aluminum cracks easier than steel and is harder to weld and more expensive.

 

A 20 year old trailer for 10 grand? Open up the check book a little bit and I'll sell my 13

 

A 48 102 great dane freedom. Coil package, boxes on both sides between the axles, sliding winches on both sides.
Most important, low mileage/use. A quick posting history search will show you I fish more than I truck. Heck the original brake shoes are at 50% or better.
As for how much, I gotta see what trade in value vs what dealers are selling them for and find a number in between the two. but I'll guess somewhere around 17/18.

 

I get it man. Whatever trailer you find, just give it a good once over. It's a freaking trailer, not much can go bad on them. Frame rails cross members king pin plate a few lights and two axles. On any spread axle look real hard where the suspension welds to the frame. Make sure the frame rails aren't twisted or bowed sideways. Look away the king pin plate, salt and that liquid magnesium chloride stuff they put in the roads gets thrown up by the drives into the drain holes in the plate and will just eat through the crossmembers and cross braces. I had to weld a new kingpin, plate and cross braces in mine December before last. Welding over your head like that is all sorts of fun. Nothing better than liquid slag falling in your ear.
