You can get a 2nd opinion but make sure to give the same info as you did for the first on. Otherwise it may be considered doctor shopping. You can also look at some reviews of docs here:

I'm sure he'll let us know.x1Heavy and SmallPackage Thank this. -
I would not mind a night under nitrous gas in the dental chair. Im pretty sure a rest like that would be epic.
The one I use is a little strong. They always turn it up to where I snore under the mask. Then back off a tad and add a touch of oxygen before going to work.SmallPackage and Scooter Jones Thank this. -
SmallPackage and x1Heavy Thank this.

After some research that was literally a symptom of way way too much gas. SO that was the last time I used that one. Jokes aside, I don't particularly like the stuff. They say they put you to sleep. But it does the opposite.
Its nice to have it. I spent a childhood under Dr Page, a very large man with arms bigger than you are around. No gas ever. (Too expensive Dad says...) three times annually for oh... 15 years. The last one I told Pa that is quite enough of that BS. Hes big but not that big. And thankfully that was the end of that one. -
Sleep test at the Dentist I can't wait to hear how that was done. The sleep apnea test is simply. If you don't have it you have nothing to worry about. 4 Events or less hour and you won't need cpap. 5 or more you got it. Your wife should notice if you stop breath at night or gasping for air.

Can obstructive sleep apnea lead to erectile dysfunction (ED)? | ISSM
Can obstructive sleep apnea lead to erectile dysfunction (ED)?
Erectile dysfunction is quite common in men who have OSA. In 2009, German researchers reported that 69% of male study participants with obstructive sleep apnea also had ED.x1Heavy Thanks this. -
ED is also driven by a variety of other issues as well. Those will have to be ruled out. Fortunately for many ED is not a present issue in life. They can enjoy each other in marriage and so on.
A spouse is usually the first to know whats what in terms of problems in sleeping. One time my spouse was more sick than usual and I managed to get her settled better after she lost her air for whatever reason. Fortunately it was the one time incident in like over a decade that I can remember. They attributed it to medicines in those days for the problem. Which she does not take anymore.
Our hospital has a sleep lab, a big one on half a tower floor. Its busy constantly. One thing for sure, there is no way I can sleep in a place like that. I never sleep well anyway after Med/Surg floor in ordinary nursing that constantly comes and goes.
