Is that front drive tire down to the cords? I don't think this was the accident that killed 3 people, this guy pulling a container ( hence the bald drive tire) just went off the road, mysteriously, and was transported to a hospital. I believe it happened right near where a few weeks earlier, 2 semis and a pickup collided with fatalities.

- ROBERTSON COUNTY, TN (WSMV) – Three people have died after a crash involving three vehicles in Robertson County.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol says the crash was reported at around 7:37 p.m. and happened on I-65 Northbound near mile marker 119. Two commercial vehicles and a passenger car were involved. Crews worked to clear the scene until around midnight.
Robin D. Cofer, 53, was driving a 2015 Nissan Versa with two passengers, Michael R. Posey, 58, and Shirley Posey, 53, when they were struck and killed by a 1998 Volvo tractor trailer driven by 52-year-old Anthony J. Bright.
The impact of the accident sent the Versa off of the roadway and into the median into oncoming traffic where they were struck by a 2014 Volvo tractor trailer driven by 59-year-old David L. Chapman.
Both the Versa and the 2014 Volvo tractor trailer came to rest in the median.
Chapman was taken to Portland ER with injuries and Bright did not suffer any injuries.
No charges have been filed.Last edited: Feb 8, 2020
