What if it Snows?

Jack-knifed? Nah, especially if you deliver to anyplace a bit tight and there are a few CR Englands trying to get in a dock.....drop that trailer and get out of the way, pop the popcorn, set the grill, grab the lawn chair and enjoy the entertainment.

 

Anything over 600 HP will get ya tingly... But you havent experienced truly Raw Power until you've drove a large car that is putting over 700 HP to the ground.

There is a grain and cattle hauler local to me that has a truck that is putting just a shade over 700 HP to the ground. He let me drive it once pulling a loaded grain train... It was only for like 10 miles and he was in the right seat. But I was like a fat kid I. A candy shop when I hit the on ramp and he said "Go ahead, open her up and let those ponies thunder."

I have NEVER, since or before, been in a truck that would S### 'n' Git like that. I hit 80 mph in less distance than my Volvo can hit 50... Much less distance.

 

There are a few places I go that a W900 with a 53 footer behind it wouldnt even fit between the dock and fence... Old places not designed for the longer trailers of today.

 

My 92 WS, had a surprisingly good turning radius, 250 wb. Last Classic,265, not as much. Current Classic,285 wb, give me 40 acres. I can still get into just about any spot. Have to really get creative, usually ends up, with a blind side final move in reverse. They look, like “ what the hell is this guy doing?” Some like to volunteer coaching skills. Thanks but no thanks, stay out of the way, please.

 

It's interesting. Im happy you have touched the face of God (To paraphrase) with that big horse. Its really good.

I had wearied of generic 500 hp engines long ago. They were nice. But faced with mountains you are still not upgrade at 65, 70 or whatever speed limit making time. If you had that 700 or even a 800 you can do it with way less fuel burn at the speed limit no strain.

 

I think a person could average 6.5 -7 mpg with one pretty easily.
