We couldn't come to terms. He referred me to the air national guard so I'm going through that process right now

Looking at air traffic control or one of the cyber fields. I'm looking for oilfield pay at 40 hours a week

This is an interesting thread. As of today, Sept 9th, Ive been in the Williston area for 10 years as a contractor. There are a lot of changes in place since it is so slow... the oil companies have more clout in contract negotiations, and one of the bigger things seems to be a crackdown on sub contractors. There is still work to be had, I am busy, but it is much, much quieter with the exception of side dump and belly dump work. I currently haul NGL in bottles, crude, and condensate. Not a lot of sand work although I am seeing some frac companies showing a few signs of life with a crew or two back on. I figure just get through this coming winter and re evaluate in spring. Hows everyone else doing in the Bakken?

I landed a production run south of town no one wanted.

It’s busy enough I hired someone to take it over for me and I still make money! Can’t go wrong with that!

Soon as the sand haulers started showing up I took a rock to the windshield. Cracked all the way through to the inside pane. I did not miss them
