I told you they were the Swift of LTL
    But did you listen?
    Nooooo....
    Actually, I was wrong.
They aren't the Swift of LTL.
They're the AD Express, Werner, CR England, Celadon, AND Swift of LTL.
    Conway is a ###### joke...no way would I pull for that cut-rate low-ball #### outfit.
They're using that 5% wage cut you fools took to low-ball everybody.
So you're no better than the over-te-road drivers you mock.
So thanks for turning a $22.00/hr job into a $21.00/hr job.
    We all appreciate it.

23.55 to 22.37. I believe the NMFA is under 20 now. I know you guys lost the 401k match and are having issues with sub-service also. I hope you can avoid the wage cuts. A good friend of mine is a 10 year road driver there and he said one more re-allignment and he's gonna loose his job. I wouldn't throw stones when you live in a glass house. All these well paying LTL gigs are in jeopardy.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought zones were still non-union there?

Considering most of the LTL that goes more than 600 miles one way is goign by rail, what difference does make. UPS and YRC are the biggest one's, but I've noticed in my area 80% of the Conway loads going Denver to Chicago, Dallas, L.A. are going via intermodal.

We used to run Brown Transfer between Denver and Cheyenne fro the BNSF. It was cake work, but they never paid on time. Same with UPS and Bullocks. We used to run UPS trailers for them in the winter, during the holidays if we were slow, usually betweem Denver and SLC or Denver and Casper. The only problem they took forever to pay their bills, sometimes we would get paid for Christmas loads in early Feb. BUllocks stiffed us on $8,500 worth of loads in '02, my Boss had to threaten them with court to get them to pay.

Take this advice Freebird. He is 100% on the money. I've been in your position and my reward is good - yours will be better.

    walleye Thanks this.
