Paranoia is rampant on this subject. I’ve driven with driver-facing cameras for several years, and no one from management at any of the places I’ve worked has ever called me in about anything camera-related, except once when I was in an accident (the cameras showed the jerk pull out in front of me, and my response). As one safety manager told me, “We’re busy enough already, we don’t have the time, manpower, or inclination to look at video of drivers just doing their jobs. That #### is BORING!”
Heck, I know that my current employer doesn’t watch me because I drove for several weeks with a sock over the camera and never heard a word about it.
