I'm at ffe also

 

Well I just got to Ft. Worth from Salt Lake. Looks like I will be closing this week out with 31 and some change. I have noticed my miles are getting better since I am staying out 5-6 weeks at a time rather than the 3 they require.

I did get a notice earlier that I need to get my idle time down, but hell in 6 weeks I have done 3 34s in places where the average temperature was 95+ so I won't apologize and they can kma for that. Also when I am somewhere the weather allows (not too hot or raining) I open up all the windows as I prefer the actual air.

What was their reason if you don't mind my asking Speedy

 

Cause i cant show where i went through primes cdl trainin and i don have a years experince so he said i would need a diploma or the likes

 

More than likely you will come across the same with any other company. Your 3 choices from there seem to be (1) finding a small co that will hire you so you can get the experience (2) paying for your own cdl school, or (3) finding a company which will pay for cdl/refresher course.

 

Are they still hiring new grads? Last I heard they were, but companies are flip-flopping on this lately.

 

I honestly couldn't tell you Haole. Right now so much out here is flip-flop that it's insane trying to keep up.

 

yea i thank they are that was one of the things i needed but didnt have was a diploma frm truck diveing school and i think if you have under a year u have to be a grad. not sure on that one though
