    Oh. That's what you mean. Thats why Romeoville Il to York PA must compensate for the poor return which s always poor. Always. So it has to be quick and uncomplicated. Reload ASAP go back and reload for better rate.

    Here is the example how that lane works for me.
    Detroit to York, PA 550 miles $1800
    York, PA to Chicago 700 miles $950
    Chicago to Detroit 300 miles $1000.
    Three days $3600, $150 in tolls, $700 in fuel.
    If I would bounce from York to Youngstown and get a load to Chicago for $700, then it would be 4 days for the whole trip. So what's the point?

    A. PA to Chicago $950 delivers FCFS, easy in and out
    B. PA to Chicago $1200 delivers next day at 6pm
    I will take A over B anytime, because that way I will make more money.

    You're hauling stuff for 1.30 a mile and think it's normal? I realize it's out of a bad area but that's ridiculously cheap.

    I pull a hopper, the crappiest paying freight ever anywhere I've been told my whole life. No I never to go that direction, been there one time in my life and didn't see anything worth going back for again.

    If outbound Northeast freight was paying decent, nobody would be paying you $3-4 per mile to go in there. It's all about averages at the end of the day with the spot market freight
