A van body?

Like say a A team Van van?

Or some other van truck body?

What truck do you intend to load that on?

Sorry for questions, but without details I cannot understand the question.

 

You are probably going to get into a special kind of trailer called a Landoll. It lowers down as a ramp, put the body on it, secure the bejeezus out of it and if it's over size get permits. And proceed.

 

Only need permits if the rollback is three or more axles.

Two things come to mind though. One would be height. Make sure it stays under the 13'6" required. Two would be weight. Make sure the rollback would still be under 26k lbs loaded.

 

The van body has no effect on the CDL nature of the roll back.

Either the roll back requires a CDL or it does not...payload is immaterial except the height as an MT van body doesn't weigh much in the first place...

Still needs his Med cert over 10K.....

 

Payload weight does matter if it pushes it over 26k actual weight.
Not only would the truck be over weight, the driver can be put oos for driving without a license.
