On a sad note. I may be unfit to drive anymore. I started having dizzy spells when laying down. Now its getting to the point of even when I am upright. Not bad when shopping as I have the cart to hold onto. It all started Wednesday morning. I thought it was because of dehydration. So I have been drinking lots of water. Yet if it doesnt clear in 2 weeks????? Oh the joys of growing old. Sigh

Ok you I-70 guys... Calling at you @otterinthewater

As many of you know I very rarely run 70 west of KC... So what is parking like in the Denver area between 0800 and 1200 on a Sunday? And what would be the best place to find said parking? If I can make Denver tomorrow morning I might stand a small chance of making it home on Monday, but ive heard Denver is notoriously bad for parking...

In order for it to work for me it would have to be a guaranteed spot basically. I would have a small amount of time to search a few stops from east to west across town, but not much else. I'm good with a rest area as well if that is the best bet.

From 8-12 you should be able to get in either TA for free. The Flying J is ALWAYS PACKED. I wouldn't even try there.
Sapp Brothers is next to the TA in Commerce City too.

I fight those with motion sickness pills from McKesson in one of the pharmacies over the counter. I take one at onset.

Remember Dizzy means middle ear fluid loop is out of whack or all shook up or actually infected or something else. Its a set of loops inside your ear behind the bone plate. IF THAT is sending dizzy to your mind, YOU become dizzy. Its the foundation of all things we do as humans.

Blood Pressure is the other issue. A heart doctor EKG will settle that question so fast. One way or the other. For me there are bad days that the BP is messed up, the fluid loops are messed up and so on down the track to Dizzy land. I hate those days. Nausea with that would put me into the ER to see whats going on.

Stop at the Loves in Bennett. It's only about 20 miles east of town. Not any further than the airport. Can just about always get a parking spot.
There's a TA on west side of downtown. Could try it. I wouldn't bet on it. Pretty crowded.

Forget the TA in Aurora/Commerce City. Last I knew. They were charging for parking on nearly all spots. But you should be able to find one between 8am to noon on Sunday.
Pilot in Aurora is a joke. Too crowded.
I've never seen an open parking spot at Sapp Bros. in Aurora/Commerce City. Besides... they always run out of fuel at night. Have to wait to fuel up till morning.

I forgot to mention. If you do go to Loves/Bennett. Parking full. Chances are a few of those spots are guys taking a 30 minute break. Just wait. It will open up. I doubt that, when you're going there.

Many thanks... This was actually where I planned to look first... But as I said, I do not know the parking patterns in that area at all because I so rarely go there.

I think its been over a year since I was last in Denver... And that was just long enough to make a drop and then roll out again.

The TA Wheat Ridge (west side of Denver) might have something. There are parrallel spots on the far end of the lot.

Edit: Theres a little bar right next to it to that has decent beer and food.
