Even though it's been over a year. I worked out of Commerce City for 6 months. Then out of Dodge City KS...had regular runs to Gypsum Co. through Denver. I know the area pretty well.

If you get tight on time. Am at the TA in Commerce City. Just east of there is shopping. There is a road that goes around and then parallel to the freeway. Right next to the freeway. Same side as TA. Trucks park on that. What you would do is head out of TA toward east. Then take the first left before you hit the freeway. Looks like no truck. But ok. I've driven through there a few times. Then take your first right. Will bring you behind stores. Then takes a left parallel to the freeway. Park anywhere along there if you want. I never did this parking there. Just what I observed. Have driven through that area. Taken the exit east of there. Driven through because of traffic jam on freeway. Was going into Commerce City. Seemed odd. Condos, apts, shopping and all. And here I was a truck driving through there. No law against it.

Having completed all administrative tasks, which was an overwhelming daunting task, The OM and I are going fully off the Res in celebration.

Now that's living it up! :)

I used to go to Little Ceasars. Get a $5 pizza. Dressed in work clothes. Yellow vest. Bib overalls. Coat. ... I'd tell them that this is my idea of dressing up and going out to dinner. :)

I'm in the TA at Lodi Ohio. Getting lights looked at on the trailer. There is a short somewhere.

Why are you abusing the equipment?

It's a POS. Rusted, small holes in the deck. The slide axle doesn't. But it was better than the other step decks.

    Sounds like driver abuse.

I had a marker lite on the back of one out once, in the communist state. So I stop at The TA in Coachella.

One truck in front of me, needs a super single.

    Dude.

Took them like 2 hours to change it. Not one dude even remotely has a clue.

Then some dude fools around with the marker light for an hour.

Then some other dude finally put it in.

I tried putting in a fresh light. All the lights are spliced, no plugs. I cut it and used a spare marker light and a current tester to check for power, nothing. So I'm going to the shop. I have to be 300 miles away Monday morning. I agree that TA is pretty useless at times. Sometimes a good tech, sometimes a bad one. But it's trucking. And I'm not paying for it. Woot. But I don't want easy Csa points for my self or the company.
