I always get the trailers with major electrical issues. When I dropped and hooked in Jax this empty had the left front upper corner light out. I figured Id get fixed in route at a Love's. Found out it literally burned up and caught fire....can't believe drivers don't check things and just drop and hook. I always do my trailer condition report to cma so it was noted on there. Just couldn't see from the ground it burned up.

What gets me is when I pickup one from the yard,or dropped right around the corner at a customer.
It takes no time to right it up,this company has alot of drivers that don't care.jarhead0311 Thanks this. -
Reports of impending snowpocalypse were inaccurate. Had a lot coming down last night but almost no accumulation. Skies are blue and clear here at the Richmond yard, the roads are fine, and I have been given a load with enough time on it to take a 34 only five days after coming back from hometime.
That bit I don't mind, actually. It is what it is. It's the fact that it delivers in Orlando that I dislike. I dunno if I hate driving in Orlando more than I hate driving in Atlanta, but the fact that I have to think about it says a lot about Orlando.
Delivers at 7:00am, too. So I'll be hitting rush hour getting there AND leaving.Lonesome, Finfn1372 and jarhead0311 Thank this. -
Starting to think my day is shot at the Love's in Wytheville with this electrical issue and 14 counting down. At least this is a drop in Groveport at Lowe's. Breakdown and maintenance heads need to be quicker deciding what they want to do and not leave a driver sitting. Fix it, or drop it in a yard then fix it. Going to be hard to get at it from inside though with the way these tractors and mow decks are loaded in there. Oughta just have me take it to RVA and unload on cross dock so can be fixed then find me a load to WA for home time.

So I was talking to a friend that still works at Abilene today, and he shared with me some information I find disturbing. He knows a driver that has less than a year experience, and the powers that be asked him if he would be interested in becoming a trainer at Abilene. In my humble opinion a driver should have a minimum of three years experience before becoming a trainer. I understand most people aren’t interested in training, so companies lower the standards to find people who will train.

Headed to Reno. Before I left WM, I had to renew my medical card. Lord willing, this will be the last one.
