So you have no more information than anyone else. If they feel the need to investigate they will. And if they deem the use of force unnecessary then they can go after the guard. But to just side with the driver just because he’s a driver when you have no facts isn’t the correct thing to do. For all any of us know he could’ve came at the guard with a winch bar and then another driver hid the winch bar before the cops showed up. If we’re just talking without facts why stop at saying the guard instigated it? If you park where you’re not supposed to then don’t be surprised when you get woken up and told to move.
And from my experience, yes I still have energy after 12 hours, since you asked.

And yes, I've worked 12 hours got off went to Home Depot picked up tile, loaded it all up then went home and was on my hands and knees for 12 hours installing it.
Not everyone out here drops dead after a 12 hour work day.
Its called adrenaline... When your in a fight, it comes out.

As most drivers have noted just wait for the investigation to be completed. If the driver was wrong or the guard was let the law handle it. Deadwood seems to make a guilty verdict before the facts are all in. Don't be so quick to judge.

When speaking to the D.A. I said how the security guard could have approached this deferentially: “Hey brother, I hate to do this to you but I’m going to have to ask you to leave, I hate this - it’s the least favorite part of my job but if you don’t they’re gonna make me call the cops and neither of us want that.” If he did that, only a sociopath would attack him.
More than likely, he didn’t - which I admit he didn’t have to. In the same way, the driver who was approached abrasively can be surly right back to him without being threatened with a firearm. I think the D.A. agreed with me. Feel really good that the driver will get a fair shake.Last edited: Feb 21, 2020
