    Hi all,
Does anyone have a spreadsheet or something that keeps a rolling tab on your pay, detention, etc suited to company drivers? If so, please post it or pm me.

    Thanks

Well I just found out my company pays “missed worked due to breakdown” on top of the actual breakdown pay. Mind you my truck have been 5 times broke down everytime at least 3 days and this last time 5 whole days. I called my FT and he’s like “yeah I’ll pay you $50 per day Brakedown and $250 for missed work. And I was like ok. Hung up and I’m thinking I should have been paid about a thousand dollars so far and I have and was not paid but neither did I know they paid that so I’m here like, what else are they hiding? Because it’s not like I have a document that says what they pay and how much they pay. I had a guy train me for 2 days and he said he gets paid $75 per breakdown day when he’s solo but I was told I get paid $50 so I’m not even sure how this people work.

    $50 is a lot more than $0.

Def get that, but the fact that I am not provided with any document that says what is paid or not. Is basically wether they feel like telling me, and If they feel like paying me. Like I said I’ve been broke drown for total 17 days. And it was until today that I found out over 3 days is a $250 missed work pay and I was never told neither did I know. It’s just a matter of they DO hide information conveniently.

Did you inquire about these things before you started?

I just wanted to make sure that you understand that you are "an at will employee". It doesn't matter what's written on paper, what your FT tells you or even if you have something in writing from the owner. None of that means anything. Without a collective bargaining agreement, everything that's told to you or written on paper are worthless. Good luck to you though.
