Anyone know the max allowable 2012 perdiem before the 80% and 2%? It's always like trying to find a needle in a haystack for me.

yes its $59 per day (can also claim partial days). and yes its not so easy to find. most places have the $46 figure as that is the more common one.

Partial days are 70% only on the day you are coming onto hometime and the day you are leaving hometime. Days in between while on HT you cannot count.
