Hi would like to help you deciding to not go with gardner trucking. If this were a good company or even a marginal company then I would advise working here. I have driven a truck for 34 years and Im here to say that grdner trucking is undoubtedly the worst place to work that ive ever seen. I went to work here for 6 months thinking I would earn a decent check each week. WRONG I worked 7 days a week for 650 take home. I had huge difficulties with their fuel system which is simply archaic. Six to seven numbers must be punched in the pump island to get fuel. Your truck runs out of fuel in a very short time as they only carry l50 gals at one time. Dispatch is done with your cell phone and always while you are driving along the roadway. ILLEGAL. Can you imagine writing down load info driving the truck and using your cell phone all at the same time? Sleeping in the truck the Kenworth especially is near impossible. The sleep area is so small it is laughable. During trip times I never met any of the drivers it was like I was isolated from everyone. I came to work early enough no one was around and at the days end late enough that I never saw anyone either. If for some reason you miss this message and do work here then watch your check stub very carefully as they will short you for certain.
