according to all the post I've read the Dac is a record for professional drivers by the companies they work for. So it wouldn't be on your Dac report , it might be on another report (?) Just include it. It's so old they won't care unless you've killed someone. (?) Good luck and don't worry about it -
go to the DMV and get a printout of yor LIFETIME driving record and see if it is on there if not DONT list it. on the other hand it was so long ago not many companies will even ask about it. BTW what was it suspended for?
-
Panhandlepat-- It was suspended for multiple speeding including a 40 or more over, drag racing, the kid stuff. Sold the car.

that long ago it shouldn't even matter. i would still since it wasn't a criminal offense (like DUI) pull your DMV record and ONLY list anything on that.
the reason i say this is this.
when i decided to get into trucking at the beginning of the year, i went to a school near my house and filled out all the paperwork, including several pre-hire apps. the recruiter there said i should include a 15 over ticket ticket i got in a neighboring state even though it wasn't in my DMV report. well since i had a 15 over ticket in my home state and listed that 15 over ticket in AL. the co's wouldn't hire me.
i decided to try other schools and in the process found out from the DMV that some states just take the fine you pay and call it even. they were/are too cheap to send that info to your home state to record it.
the upside to this for you is, MOST trucking co's dont care about moving violations more than 3,5,7 ETC years old -
Panhandlepat-- I live in Washington state and I did pull my abstract from the DMV it only showed a failure to comply to seatbelt reg. it was 3 1/2 years old. I did get a speeding ticket in Ca. this past summer can't remember if the cop wrote 10 or 15 over. Sent it to Ca. court ASAP they sent me back the fine amount and listed exceeding the posted 55 mph limit. This did not show on my Wa. abstract report. The suspension was in N.Carolina. Thanks
