I just got my authority. I thought my wife would dispatch me! Oh no! What a mistake!
question, can I find a dispatcher to handle it all? How would payment work?
Any suggestions?

Why don't you just work on developing a good relationship with one guy/gal at a few brokers you're comfortable with. Let them know your minimum terms and general demands. Keep them abreast where you are and where your going and where you may need/want to get to. Allow them to text you prospective load pertinent info and you can respond yes, no, maybe (maybe means you'll give it time and give yes/no answer within 6 hours)
Until you get a good working relationship developed with a good broker, it's tough as an independent, but if you want something done right ... do it yourself.ABA Thanks this. -
STexan good advice

Why don't you find loads and dispatch yourself?
-
Because while I'm driving from point A to point B my dispatcher can be looking and negotiating for another load. This is especially true when I'm hauling a partial load and I can pick up enroute. Makes sense?

How much are you willing to pay? I can dispatch out of my house.
