I'm looking to get back in the seat again after a false start do to lack of support at home. I loved being out on the road but my better half had a different experience. Since being home I had a good talking to her,:biggrin_25516: I would try to find a company that had a bit less time out, maybe 7-14 days out compared to 3-4 weeks. this would get me home more often, maybe with a soft start I could ease into being out longer. Any idea's???? Companies??
I have a spotless record, all endorsements, great work history, and a rookie, thanks for the help~Liteguy

have you tried local trucking jobs, (dump, waste or construction) these might smooth things at home.

Agreed. OTR isn't good for marriages and for obvious reasons. Probably more local stuff available than the op realizes.:biggrin_25519:

You need to get out and go to the companies. That way you'll find out just how they operate. I believe it's better that way anyway since good companies do not advertise. You can download a list of companies in your area by inputting several names. Trucking companies, truck directory, and so on. Just be careful and watch if you enter trucking jobs. Then all the bugs come out running.
