oops , I do know how to spell (their) just alittle flustered, sux getting screwed by the last trucking company I'll probably ever work for , I have always loved the job, but cause of medical reasons I will have to find something else to do. Even if I find away to get my carpal tunnel fix it would be silly for me to truck again, I just had to give it one more try ( I'm not the type to say I cant do something without trying) ,good luck and be safe all .

Who in the heck gave you flat rate pay for that?? And why did you agree to that? You got a bad Fleet Manager. Or your just a sucker...

When I get home I'll put a couple of mine up. -
I never agreed to a flat rate pay, I was told that I would b makin .35 a mile
-
Think I would be calling payroll and asking WTF!!!! looks like they made a mistake. Surly they had to, but like you I would be fraking out to. But I would call them and ask what was up with the pay.

Hello everyone there is a lot of good info on this forum and was wanting to know what is one of the better companies that offer cdl training? thanks and drive safe!!!
-
Well, that doesn't matter anymore because if you drive for anyone of the three your gonna pull what they give you. Beside's I wouldn't ##### and take what your given because it could be the only thing you can get to get you back into a better freight area. I'm averaging about 2500 miles a week but thing's are a bit screwed up around here right now with all three companies being combined together. I think they finally pulled payroll's head's out of their ###' so we might acutally start getting what we make every week now instead of it being all screwed up over 2-4 week period. If you work here you know what I mean. I've been here about 2 months now and I will say it's a hell of a lot better than what I've had to settle with in the past. Lot's of rules here that you can't get away with unlike a company like Prime so it is however a big change but for the most part I'm happy here as long as I keep seeing pay checks.

Oh and a kwik note to all those coming here or thinking about coming here. You had BETTER!!! have enough money to get you through for about 2 weeks because theydo not have paid oreintation or have a sign on bonus. They provide two meals a day while in class pay for the bus and hotel and provide transportation to and from th hotel everything else is on you until you get your first check.
-
They wanted the same from me. I presented the diploma from Primes CDL training and completed in flying colors and they still hired me on with 10 1/2 months. If you didn't have the diploma all you had to do is contact Prime and ask them to send you a copy.

Is it weekly pay or bi weekly?
-
IROC I can't send you a pm yet so I will answer your questions on here. Pay is weekly. Pet policy is .01 per mile. I haven't had a problem with idleing. and some have apu's and most don't
