I be been with the same company for 5 yrs and I'm very confused how to start this 34 hr reset . On Monday I started with 0 hours because I took 2 weeks off we work Monday through Friday home weekends . I log about 12 hrs a day on duty and driving .. If I have to have 168 hours before I reset, what do I do be able to be ready for a full week on Monday?

the 168 hour & 5am rules are no longer enforced. You can reset whenever you like as long as it is 34 hours.
if you only work 60 hours/week, you don't even need the resetmoneylong and stevez57305 Thank this. -
Double yellow is correct. But in that scenario weeks off would have given you your reset. And since its m-f when ever you goto line 1 or 2 that would be your start of the 34 and as long as you dont pass that time you started your last you would have your 2 1am to 5am and well more than 34 hours. But we dont have to worry about that anymore. You can reset 3 times a week if you want
