I started working for FedEx Freight and been on my own last 3 nights. I got called into work early tonight and was told that I can no longer drive for them because of a accident I was involved in on 08/23/16. I called my terminal manager he told me that they can use me for outbound dock if I wanted to do that. I asked him if we can sit down tomorrow and talk about this because I don't understand why none of this was done before I came on. I been driving and working for them for 2 weeks and none of this made any sense.. I would have never left my previous company.
I pulled up my MVR just a few minutes ago. I have NO points. I have NO tickets, Just that one accident over a year ago in a tractor trailer.
The accident was classified as rear end accident. I was in the left lane passing a accident scene with emergency vehicles on the shoulder. A car passed me in the right lane as we were passing the scene and then cut me off causing me to hit her. Again I was never issued a tickets and caused no damaged to company equipment the car was towed away and the driver claimed she had whiplash.
Interesting Situation

This is where front facing camera come in handy. But it sounds like just the company policy does not care whos fault the accident was. So you need a new job.
Texas_hwy_287 and Brickwall Thank this. -
I hope that you run a camera for yourself these days.
With time even the expensive accidents go away and you will be running again. I once destroyed 10K in Home depot inventory and it was not made my fault that day because the staff there failed to do the basic job of corraling the cars so we could get that fat semi out of there. I had to return the following day to complete the delivery and this time they did corral the cars.
Take a look around, there is a recent video of a PIT done to a brake checking car in Montana. -
Is that your only accident/wreck?

Anyway, apply with some lessor known companies or some second chance companies. -
