If you going to go out with a mentor... I suggest going with a manual trans. Get more practice. You already can drive an auto. Always a crap shoot what you gona get with swift. Depends on what' available or how long you want to wait.
When I left swift in 2015, they had cascade, kw, prostate, and Volvo. I never seen a peterbilt with a swift logoOdin's Rabid Dog Thanks this. -
They won't roadtest me on the manual the recruiters already told me that. I don't know anything about the mentor, from what the recruiter said if road tested on an automatic thats all id drive
-
Then again, the recruiter will say just about anything to get you into orientation. That is what he is paid to do.
You may want to speak with someone (like the person that will decide if you can test on an auto) at the terminal you will be going to, just to make sure.Odin's Rabid Dog Thanks this. -

Think the one In Denver was too.
Swift knows you gonna be a it rusty. That' why they do the drive test. Just don't hit anything.
When I went back to swift in 2012 I haven' driven in 1.5 years. Takes a it to get back into practice. That' what the mentor is for.
