Two part question for local, city, and OTR.
1. What technique do you use, ie... floating, double clutch, progressive shifting...to get best mpg?
2. What speed tranny do you use?
I use a 10 speed Eaton Fuller. I float the low gears, and double clutch high gears. I shift progressive when fully loaded, otherwise shift how the truck feels went not fully loaded. Thanx for your input

I have always had good results with keeping it in the highest gear I can.. an staying out of the fuel.. with out luggin it.. this don't apply to a down hill run though.
