If I got my cdl in 2006 and was in training with TMC, are there any companies that will give me a refresher and hire me even though I had a minor accident (my trailer clipped the nose of a tractor and know one was hurt) but was terminated.

TMC I've heard is pretty strict on everything. How much damage total was done? Also when was this done recently or back in 2006?
-
Plenty of the big carriers are hurting for drivers so, considering this incident was 8 years ago I think they will give you a pass and you would take a refresher.
-
Pattyj it happened back in 2006 and there were no injuries to anyone and I caught some of the grill and one of the headlights.
-
Do you think it would still be on my DAC.
-
Even if it was on your DAC I wouldn't worry about it. You should have no trouble finding a job. Like stated above lots of companies are hurting for drivers. If a minor incident is the only thing on your record you'll get hired.

Maverick will hire you and you won't need a refresher. I don't think the accident will hurt you. Good Luck
-
How long since you've driven?
-
After 3 years it will not matter much. Resent experience is more of a issue now.

Go to swift tell them you want .45 per mile see what they say let us know ...
