REALLY.....?

That is about the only excuse I find pausable ... I am a PROFESSIONAL Driver and would never think of parking in the manner shown in the picture. This guy makes us ALL look bad in the eyes of the public.

I always get out and look at how my truck is positioned after I park, if it dont look good I get back in and straighten things out or find another space.

It's truck driving not rocket science!

 

Just be glad that some are not in ROCKET SCIENCE , be to see where some ROCKETS might end up.

I would be sitting there blowing my airhorn until he got up and moved. No sleeping till he moves it LOL

 

Great post.I to have driven extra time and to numerous truck stops to find a proper place to park.There has never been an occasion when I was unable to find a legitamate space out of traffic flow.Its about bad trip planning,ignorance,and just plain not caring about your fellow driver.I see it almost every night in every truck stop.Last night in particular,a Knight truck,oh well dont get me started.

 

On the Dan Ryan Wednesday night I heard some guys yakking about a Western Express covered wagon that had lost one trailer tire and the other tire on that hub was low on air and the wheels were hitting the pavement.

Sure enough the guy comes by me running about 65 and gets off at 31st St. I didn't have the truck number but I called Western Express to let them know... the guy on the phone didn't sound surprised...

 

31st street, I would think he would get off on 39th street, more of a truck route. I think there is a few truck dealers over there, on the corner of Halsted & 39th. I always pulled over and called in. Running like that is just wrong. Maybe he was looking for Cellular Field. LOL

 

I actually saw a guy get out of his truck in a truckstop and ask another driver to park it because he was out of hours.

 

BTW- I have no problem blowing the airhorn when I pass these idiots with their curtains up. These guys just don't care what you think. You whine about it but don't do anything about it. I'll at least wake his butt up.

And the guys that will tell me that I'm interfereing with his neighbors sleep? They should have bought a set and knocked on his door and gave him a little opinionated comment.

 

Hey now, thats how his trainer taught him to park. Leave the greasy headed, trash talkin, 400lb lazy ##### alone. He doesnt know any better.
