I'm checking out Van Eerden Trucking based in Byron Center, MI and thought I'd jump on here to see if, by chance, any drivers from Van Eerden are out there willing to pass on some advice regarding the company. I'm looking for the good, bad and the ugly. Any and all advice is much appreciated!

Back in the '90s Van Eerden, Van Kampen and ETV all ran Steelcase and Hayworth (office furniture) out of Michigan to mostly Fl. and the west coast. ETV is gone but the other two still do this and haul produce back. Van Eerden last I knew will only do teams for the west coast and might not even hire solo's, if they do hire solo I don't believe they get west coast runs.
I have never worked for them, but I do think they are a solid reputable company. -
Thanks Ukumfe. So far I've received nothing but positive feedback regarding Van Eerden and, according to their website, they do hire solo's. West coast swings arent' that important just as long as they don't go east very often - I've had my fill of that to last a lifetime.

Sorry for bumping an old topic but does anyone know if they would consider hiring a team from California?

I drive for Van Kampen. We can pass Van Eerden, lol. I like them, they are fair and keep us running.
