You can go to court have those 18+ old charges removed from your record with a small fee. I also don't think they show up on a BGC after a certain time unless you wrote it on the app. After all that how could you recommend them to someone ​

 

Just ask a driver recruiter at Swift to email u answers to questions like pay and benifits, ldiling policy, driver facing camera etc. They or at least Deanna wont put it in writing. That should make u stay far far away. IF u need ANOTHER reason. Lol. Be safe driver and look out for yourself.

 

Funny cause I was emailing Deanna and some of the questions she would avoid, like was the home time like ? She would go straight to the point to fill out the application and to be ready for orientation and quit my job.

 

It's up to you. I was trained at swift Fontana but didn't work for them and won't ever I was hired else where right after training. Deanna was mine also never honest

 

I felt she wasn't honest at all she was just rushing me to apply and get it over with.

 

Hopefully its because I don't know any better since its my first trucking company but I'll always have a decent amount of respect for them for taking a chance on us newbies when so many won't.

 

I'm not sure at this point. I just resigned . Hate not having something lined up, but I was concerned that Swift would find out, send me across the country and fire me since I've read of that happening more than once.

 

Why didn't you line something up first? Shouldn't be that hard to find something in NC. And next time don't list those 2 issues on any paper work they won't show up on your back ground check.

 

Are you sure it wasn't Dollar General? That's who Swift has a dedicated route with. My advice, avoid like the plague! A friend I was in Swift's school with was on that account. It is not at all what they say it is.
