Taking the pre trip, skills, and over the road tests tomorrow and I am freaking out. I have memorized the pti and break tests, but for some reason still worried. Also hoping to not blow the parallel park.
Testing tomorrow

You should be nervous. NEVER EVER be over confident. That's a killer in this business, both literally, and figuratively. Don't think too much about it tonight. Ask your wife or girlfriend for a handjob at minimum. Get a good night sleep. Most importantly, take your time tomorrow...AND BREATHE.
lfod14, truckerlife74, nmbeagle30 and 1 other person Thank this. -
ITS THE END OF THE WORLD!!!!!
ahhhh talking toasters are unionizing and taking over the world by refusing to release the pop tarts and toast without a vowel of submission!!!
Concentrate on that instead of being nervous, you'll do great. What time are you testing at? I'll be sure to request an update 2-2.5hrs after your appointment.
Cats in the bag... With the toaster....Straight Stacks, nmbeagle30 and BeanDip Thank this. -
I hope to have a test appointment in a few days, so I'm chiming in. 5 examinees failed in the past 2 days due to:
- failed brake test: make sure buttons pop out (pull on them afterward!)
- missed the oil fill tube and dipstick
- missed the valve stems and tire psi
- missed the emergency equipment
I plan to do my best, but I expect to fail SOMEthing. Others far better than me have.nmbeagle30 Thanks this. -
We will be on here giving you congrats tomorrow. If you know your stuff just relax. Us older guys were Grandfathered in,but my wife said they like to hear certain words mentioned. She passed first try.You can do it. Good luck to you.
nmbeagle30 Thanks this. -
Testing begins around 8am central...but there are 13 total testing from my school. Just hope the examiner doesn't want to get home early. Thanks
-
I'll check in around lunch time.
nmbeagle30 Thanks this. -
Just point to everything and say properly mounted and secure. No bent, broken, missing, or damaged parts. You will do fine
