Chugging along nicely. Had several people quit at our terminal lately so we're busy. Found out today were classified as essential and we're not permitted to self-quarantine ourselves. Other than the current state of affairs for everyone I'm doing pretty good. How are y'all?

    I
i was just going to ask that after I had switched over today. Great minds think alike. Haven’t been on here for awhile. You know trying this social distancing thing out lol. Everything is good over here. Saw my name in the company news magazine under the 1 year anniversaries and I must say it is an accomplishment. Never thought I would see my name in a company newsletter before. It may not mean nothing to some people but to me as a veteran whose had many accomplishments in his career recognized to see that being recognized in the civilian sector is such a wonderful thing. I look forward to joining the many names of 5, 10, 20, and 30 year drivers.

Congrats on your one year anniversary! I had an accident stepping out of the truck twisting my ankle bad back in March and have been doing transitional work here at the terminal for the past 7 weeks. About another two weeks and I'll be able to get back to work. Stay safe out there

    Kstrong86 and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this.

Thank you. Yes I’m still doing teams. It’s good money so I’m sticking to it for now. I have a couple things on my to do list lol. Still running I-10. Sucked last week because of the swamp fire but glad they was finally able to control it. Detour was crazy. We have slowed down a bit but one of the things about us here at Cooper is we really haven’t payed anybody off. At least not to my knowledge. I hear all the other LTL’s have been furloughing drivers so I think I’ll stay put where I’m at lol. AAA Cooper only hires drivers they need for the job. Never more than what they need. Makes sense now to why we don’t have a lot of extra board drivers.

Thanks for the congrats. Sorry about the fall. Those can be nasty. Been there done that. I just do what they have always tell us in the Army. Take some ibuprofen and drink water and in
like two days we are good. Lol. That’s what they always told us until we retire and get that big medical packet disable vet status lol
