Agree with you totally. A lot of his postings are out of left field, but generally there is some kind of message contained in it.

this is awesome, don't stop now keep it going. Explain how you were unrightfully charged with abandonment. I love those kinds of stories, some have merit most do not.

I'm just saying, i should've received a better referral.
eligible for rehire : no
work history: company policy violation
work history: unsatisfactory safety record
no. of DOT reportable accidents: 0
no. of non DOT incidents/accidents: 0
ring, ring......
"hi you doing there. we have a new applicant and we were just wondering what happened over there at PAM"
and if PAM ever replies....
"oh, BigDfromTX, he had 3 unreported accidents"
my question, why is 3 not showing next to non DOT reportable incidents/accidents?
so I've got to be on the same page for their reason for firing me, the reason the North Jackson PDS office gave me.
incident #1 - sleeper panel scrape
incident #2 - hood brace broken upon opening
incident #3 - metal to metal contact in u-turn
when i called PDS to get a rough estimate of the damage, I was told incident 3 cost them $250 (two-hundred, I did not omit a zero).
incident 2 is being charged to me as an incident when the part just broke upon opening as i was changing a park light.
I vouch for incident 1 because I was just trying to swing the trailer and park it closer to another one in one of my hot shot trucking manuevers that another driver thought i wouldn't be able to execute. What did they expect, if trucking is about backing too, I'm gonna pull a stunt or two.
djtrype, I didn't appreciate that comment about a 40 ton missile or anything to do with a dead family, but look what happened to you
that's all recruiters look at to fit their requirements. One said they only allow 1 incident in your last 6 months of driving.
So then it's probably 3 strikes and I'm out.
Let's take it back to where it all began and run NYS metal coils if we have to.
cheers
ps. alot of you guys need to quit v-parking. I would've never tried this manuever 2nd time out, but I didn't have my trainer's authority to just dump the trailer in the lot for the yard dog. You'll see the truck had glue all over the top of the front shield, so I didn't bother to report verbally.Attached Files:

I'm not usually lost, but I'm lost on this one. Guy did a tight, illegal u-turn and damaged his sleeper fairing, but got cited/accident report for it?
-
You've got to contribute more if you want to understand. What is illegal about a turn?
You'll have to understand that when I first started these posts I had already been fired, so most of, if not all of my post under this company, will appear scatter-brained!
I wouldn't know where to begin, but I sure can put the pen down once I hop into another truck.
Lord have mercy. -
It's just that post had been deleted, some were random, and I was just following to see what was going on... and I couldn't make it out.
-
I do wonder, however... that these two statements can exist concurrently:
"Trucker? 0-1 Year"
"I'm a 1 million miles safety award!"
We had young guys go to the BX in basic training and buy all kinds of medals, put them on their service coat as a joke... didn't mean they earned them or new what they meant. -
And before he was a driver.
And while he was in the womb.
But don't take just my word for it...
-
yeah, that's it.
"I'm a 1 million miles safety award!"
It's like saying, "how could you go there"
there are alot of reasons why I feel I will always be in the top percentile of preferred applicants wherever I apply, so it's like saying they're scum.
Don't they know I am a 1 million miles safety award, and can get there if driving a truck is what I decide to do with a working career!
Career hindsight is all I needed while I've sat all these almost six months..
Don't you just get a kick out of my approach, and then there are the arrow truck sales, 50cpm company drivers, dedicated, local, regional, lease-purchase, lease to company, driver for o/o, teams, big walmart & fed-ex contracts, load boards and endorsement driving.
And let's not forget Flatbed.
Let us all be a big family and help one another out cope with our stresses.
When I think of the flatbeds, it looks like they're playing hookey & that's how I feel now waiting for another job.
If I could just roam around playing hooky for a while....
