the volvos seem to struggle maintaining a lane and see getting passed as an affront to their ego.
The old Pete’s are the guys that will die before they get passed by a “crapscadia” lol
not proud to admit but ive played the “down hill jam” once or twice.Blue jeans, Bud A., Canadianhauler21 and 6 others Thank this. -

If this guy hadn’t hit the concrete he would have taken out the fence
but I’ve run over stuff too.
I ran over a Gate post and backed off of it and went on in the facility.
Then realized there was a camera pointed right at the Gate so they would easily be able to tell who did it. So I told the receiver “ I think someone ran over your gate post,—-pause —“ I was just fixing to add “it was me”
But he pulls up the video feed and right as he switches it on, there is a truck driving right over the top of it.
so he got the blame for it since he ran over it after I did, while the guy was watching it happen live .
I now work for a company that installs Enviromental protection and treatment systems at gas stations and truck stops and we had our system in the corner of the parking lot of a truck stop with a fence around it and the concrete barriers about 20 feet out from the fence.
and the concrete barriers were constantly getting run over and pushed into the fence.
I showed up to work on the system one way and the concrete barrier was pushed into the fence and the truck that did it was still there ,
And I could tell since there were small bits of concrete sitting on TOP of the trailer bumper that was touching the barrier.
so I wake up the driver and tell him he hit the fence and he Said “I did not “ and then drove away.
i had already photographed the damage and his truck info but since I knew we were going to be removing the fence in a few months I never emailed the pics to the company.Last edited: May 8, 2021

Not a big deal, doesn’t look like any real damage. The rookie said it was his first week or something, probably in a hurry and forgot to move his tandems back up after bumping the dock and didn’t realize how wide he’d have to turn. We’ve all hit/ran over something, and if you haven’t you ain’t been driving long enough or you’re a #### liar.
People do dumb #### and I’m people too. If he did something serious I’d probably laugh but it wasn’t even bad enough to raise an eyebrow.Bud A., Gearjammin' Penguin, JSanborn103 and 3 others Thank this. -
