True. He said can get at least 3 in, probably 4. I did find that hard to believe. I’m still sitting outside of Boston. Lots of snow and wind. Told them I’m in no big hurry to get out in this empty. Interstate is pretty empty, so I’ll stay put for now...lol

I’ve been to OJs and washed but I’ve never been to Newark to load. Glad Crosset Driver was able to help you out. I delivered in Spokane, Washington this morning. I’m loading in Prosser for Floyd, Virginia now so I’ll be over on that side of the country with ya next week.

I’m ready to see that side of the country. I am doing a couple of the short runs early in the am. Dropping this tank at OJ’s and bob tailing to get the first one. I’ll eventually head back to OJ’s and pick up a clean tank and get loaded in that same area and head to North Carolina.

I’ve loaded in Strasburg, Virginia and delivered in Caldwell, Idaho before. Something to keep in mind if you’re close to that area and asking for a preplan. Another one you can try to get on is Memphis to Bakersfield, CA. You would probably have to haul one from Laurel, Maryland down to Murfreesboro, TN then once you’re done in Murfreesboro ask if they have a yeast load going out West.

Thanks for the heads up. Can only handle so many days up here. Lol. Since I got caught in this storm, I’m squeezing a restart in, so hopefully I’ll get a long run from NC.Tanker_82 Thanks this. -
The best way to get around that I’ve found is when you’re in route to a delivery, call the dispatcher who’s over the particular area you will be delivering in. I usually call them when I’m 3-4 hours away from destination. Just tell them your name and truck number and tell them you are getting ready to deliver and was calling to see if you could get a preplan or if they had anything lined up for what you’re doing next. There’s usually a few seconds of silence or mumbling to themselves where they’re pulling you up on the computer and looking at loads. At that time is when you can tell them you’re trying to get out West or trying to get to this area or that area and ask if they have anything that can work you that direction.
9 times out of 10 they will accommodate you and try to give you what you’re wanting. Sometimes they can’t, especially if the weather has shut other trucks down and left them short handed or if it’s really busy and they have a load that needs asaped in order to keep a customer happy.skinnytrucker and bigcat1124 Thank this. -

I was in the north east a lot with Indian river , After bringing a load up from Florida I’d do one short run , then I’d ask for laurel md to Murfreesboro, but I mostly asked for Hancock md to waupan wi, then from waupan ask for red star yeast in Cedar Rapids ia going west
