Have you called and talked to your DM? What did he/she have to say? Pull out the policy book and start up the chain of command. Gawd knows I've pissed some people off and have had 2 phone calls with Mary. Still getting miles.

Yea I talked to my DM and was told he would get me back up to the miles I had earlier, so that's nice I guess. Then weekend dispatch gave me a load that has me sitting 4 days and rolling 284 miles when I do pick up. So that'll be a nice $40 check this week. I plan to complain today and call Monday and pitch a fit. You'd think how this company, and every other one to he honest, is losing drivers left and right they would treat their remaining employees pretty dang good. Oh well, just more reason for me to keep searching for a local gig.

One thing you've got to remember about companies like this, they base their business model on not caring about the drivrs and on turnover. Why do you think they always have students in training?
You may just have to start going up the chain and start calling people. Do it politely but remember, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Good luck. Will probably be joining you now that I'm in FL. -
any body tell me how the trans am orientation is in KS. what do they have you do
-
Have you read all the different transam threads on here? Do believe its been mentioned. Did mine in Rockwall but believe most orientations are the same. Paperwork, pee test, driving test, more paperwork, leasing is the greatest thing since sliced bread, more paperwork and etc.

I've been trying to understand why some drivers say they can't make money as a L/O with Trans Am. As a new business, you have to keep the wheels turning for a good while before taking a break. To stop making money by taking home time and have the truck payment still coming at you is not smart as a new business. It took two weeks to start to recover from what I lost by taking home time. Hitting the house once a month is too soon as a new lease operator unless you live in a central area and just stopping by for a night with the load.
Gotta plan on staying out for a good while and running 62-65 mph to conserve fuel and fill that fridge up with walmart cause eating out all meals is spending too much money. At least until you get used to how the money is flowing and how good business is certain times of the year.
Thats the price you pay to make a lease plan work. You gotta do a lot of work to make the numbers right to bring home good money.
That truck is like a big baby that you have to do everything for and your weekly statement is like that baby crying to you telling you it needs more to make it happy so you will be happy with that money.saigon95 Thanks this. -
They still keeping you guys rolling? Start my orientation Jan 5 in Olathe. Anybody know how long the wait for a truck has been recently?
