How’s it going. My names Carmelo. I have a 5ek 17859. I need to order injector set but don’t know what part number or which ones to order. Does it come with 58s? I had the computer checked and the trucks a 435hp but I guess previous owner put it at 550 that’s what computer said. So should I put stock injector or?

If someone has been in there then who knows.
Take 10 min of your time and pop a valve cover and look at part number on injector. Seems simple enough.Diesel Dave, spsauerland and SAR Thank this. -

Factory would be 57's/ 10R8501. Last ECM download was in 2010 by Thompson Cat in Tennessee with 747,147 miles. At that time it was set @ 455/1650.

Here’s my .02, I have 5Ek born 435 when I bought it, it had gone thru an inframe overhaul.
Since I had it, I’ve done upgrades including a ECM tune. A few years ago a had an injector for go out. I had the same idea the OP had, I wanted to by the injector thru the engine family number so it could be a easy swap. The shop told me if it’s been thru an inframe, it’s possible they probably upgraded. So we/they decided to pull out the injector first, and lord and behold, it was a “different” injector then the engine family called for. Good thing I took the shops advice. So there ya go, it’s your call. I would pull the injector first to match the number with the replacement one.
Edit: it still was a 58 but different tip or something cuz it was a different number than the original.wore out, spsauerland and SAR Thank this.
