Wish I was I've heard nothing but great things about that company they were my first choice since I recently graduated an 8 week course.Speeding ticket and a no-fault accident stopped me from making it though

do you also have a return ticket???? LOL. I'm sorry, I'm just couldn't resist. I don't think half the guys/gals in TMC's orientation make it half way through the first day. hell, some fail the road test (I'm talking drivers with 5+ years experience.) and many more of them drop out over the days/weeks when they find out what flatbedding really requires.

but quick question - didn't TMC just lay off a bunch of people over the last year or so? and now they're hiring again? what gives? I guess they're just replacing the older, more expensive drivers with new meat, eh?

LOL---no return ticket, ive been a landscape construction foreman for 10 years, doing everything from patios to block with stone veneer, im all up for hard work, theres nothing like moving 12" block with a wheelbarrow all day in 90 degree heat....LOL so bring flatbedding on :biggrin_25519:

And as to your question, i would refer it to Eckz he could fill you in on it all, i believe they did, and most for miniscule reasons, but then rehired some back............

I drive by the tmc yard about once a month... they gotta have three hundred flats stacked up on the fence and a hundred tractors sitting.

they pay flat pay for newbies or old hands so i doubt they are canning old guys with experience though the old guys may be leaving in search of more miles...

grain o salt... I just drive by, not work there, but I haven't seen near the volume loaded down the road either...??? so who knows.
