I started DMACC on Monday. So far so good, but it's only 3 days in and still a week and a half before I get in a truck. Got my CDL learner's permit yesterday, took and passed the air brakes and combination certs while I was there. I'm the fat guy with the beard and glasses, say hi if you see me wander through the shop.

Yeah, I've done some research (including posting here for opinions). DMACC's pretty much the only game in town, but they also seem very good. 6 weeks of 8 hour a day classes, two weeks in classroom, 4 weeks driving. 60+ hours behind the wheel, two students per driving instructor. My classroom teacher got her CDL there some 15 years ago.
