ESTES Express (5 Year Review)

I’m going to venture to say that Estes needs to do a mass lay-off of road drivers, even if I’m one of them. The sitting has risen to ludicrous levels for all extraboard. When sitting 20+ hours at a hotel is a regular practice, it’s a problem. The run cutting is rampant for schedules. None of us here has gotten anymore than crumbs that fell off the table for the past year. I’ve tried to remain stoic about it, but it gets harder as the days go by. The sitting just takes all of my reason and purpose out of me.

 

Should pick up in another month or two. Slow here at ABF Carlisle, buddy works at OD...slow there too.

Carlisle, huh? I would meet you guys at Akron all the time. Do they still stay at the hotel with the two special channels? Lol

And a beer to go to bed with.

 

Haven't been west in awhile, on a northeast bid now. Love the traffic.

 

Ohhh yeahhh...I forgot all about that. Lol

They even had some good beer occasionally. Failing that, just make it a Coors Light because it tastes like water. Lol

 

Yeah, unfortunately I had to leave ABF a while back due to circumstances unrelated to Akron. Lol

 

I wouldn’t mind if they laid me off either lol
