i may be a bit out of line here, but that sounds like the trucking industry i know....

 

wow how times have we heard that one before.

 

Are basic grammar and punctuation no longer taught in our schools?

 

Appearantly not........basic grammer goes along way towards jobs and such.....

 

And since all the good jobs went overseas...

 

It's just sad.......I hope people realize that this is not entirely representative of the trucking industry.
We are not all a group of semi-literate hayseeds.

 

Yes I agree but if you catch the news where they are interviewing tornado victims, they pick out the fattest or dumbest looking or both, people they see so they can say the same words the world knows so well.."Waal, it sounded jess like a thousand trains driving righ through the house"...
The news will do the same thing a a truck stop!
I read a lot of these and about every 3 out of four I read I need to get my book of "how to speak 6th grade drop out" out to translate the freaking post! AND they call ME a redneck Ga boy!
Why is it you, your, yours and you're. They, there, their,theirs are ALWAYS used wrong? especially the word "there"! Grammar people ans Spelling please! and turn off caps lock also! ROFLMAO!!

 

My pet peeve is the misuse of "loose" when people mean "lose." Dunno why that one bugs me so much.
