Our world would have 8 lane glass smooth superhighways that go to every possible destination with no cars allowed on them ever. With no speed limit, 20 foot wide lanes, and trailers that load and unload themselves.

I'd just be happy to find a truck stop who's idea of the healthy meal isn't a dried up hockey puck of a chicken breast with a tamato slice and piece of lettuce for the low low price of $28.99

Well were pleased to say our idea of good food is just that GOOD FOOD! Im a picky eater and if the food aint good I aint eaten it so I can promise you good quality food at a reasonable rate and a fast pace. WE have been in the food service business for 10yrs + and understand what you guys want and need. So no hockey pucks for $28.99!

YAY!!! **does a happy dance** Finally! Good food!

What I find sadly lacking on truck stop menus is unfried seafood. I like grilled fish, lobster tail, crab legs, etc, but I can very rarely get them on the road. I also like to see a good selection of fresh fruit. Not just melon and grapes, please!

In addition to everything mentioned, reasonably priced laundry facilities. A movie theatre that is comfortable that isn't playing a movie from the 1970's.
A nice game room with current games.
    Quality food.
    Clean showers.
While a nicely lit parking area is good, the light is sometimes hard to sleep with, so maybe some cool lighting that is low to the ground.
While I do not drive them, doubles parking would be a good idea as well as a 5 minute parking area just past the pumps so drivers that are not staying do not have to go to the back of the lot just to get their ticket for fuel or block the pumps.
Have a few pump attendants out keeping everything clean and orderly, maybe even have them clean the windows for you for a couple of bucks.

If you will be having 4 wheelers coming in, then PLEASE have more than one soda fountain area. Nothing like waiting 10 minutes for some kids to finish playing with the soda.

Plenty of parking! I prefer concrete, but I also live out in Arizona where blacktop melts. LOL.
Have a small grocery store area where drivers could buy some quick stuff to cook at reasonable prices.

    Thanks!

Better, a seperate area for 4-wheelers to pay for their purchases. This way drivers who are on a schedule won't have to wait for the family on vacation to round up all their kids before they get on their way. Also, a couple of people running the fuel desk so we can pay for our fuel, get our reciepts, and get on our way.

Tell the towel boys not to give me a dirty look, when I ask for extra towels. I use,
    1 for my body
    1 for my hair and
1 to put on the ledge to sit on while I shave my legs.
Have enough towels to give out extras if they are needed.

When your designing the bathrooms put a seat in the shower for shaving legs
& a seat in the dressing area so I can sit while putting lotion on my legs.
And enough hot water for all the showers.
And heat in the shower rooms, so I don't get cold.

    okcowgirl97 Thanks this.

Now that was confusing for a second. I saw the purple hippo and thought, "Pharm shaves his legs?!?"
