I have a 9400 international I've already replaced the A/C switch and the fan solenoid worked fine after doing this. After my trip fan clutch kicked on and stayed engaged. When I just shut off the motor I hear a chirp and the fan locks and stops. When I start the engine I turn my fan overdrive switch on and off all I hear is the solenoid engage and it disengage But I don’t think it’s letting air push out of the solenoid to the fan clutch Anyone?

I have a Mack and a Peterbilt both with similar problems.
I always have to rig up a bypass switch to cut it on and off. Just seems like there's always problems with the fan clutches -
Same here if I bypass it works. I’m thinking fired wire or bad ground from ECM going to solenoid which won’t push air to the hub. I have all new batteries, alternator, new ground going to the cab.

Check to see that you have air coming to the fan solenoid. If you do then check to see if you have air at the fan clutch. If not the line could be plugged or swollen shut (find this on older rucks). Or the fan solenoid may be defective.
